i wrote the words down on now yellowing pages
in a red notebook
it is something to try to believe in yourself
tho belief is something i thought i forgot how to achieve
but the words were true
stay true to yr voice and yr audience will find you
it is something to have a voice
a blessing in the brevity that is our time here with each other
even 15 mins of kindness in a laundromat can
bring a distant and needed hope
a friend is a true and good thing indeed
